GPEC Annual Dinner- October 9, 2014
August 26, 2014

To celebrate 25 years as the region’s premier economic development organization, GPEC will be hosting the Annual Dinner at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel on Thursday, October 9.

During the evening, GPEC will honor three leaders in our community who have played an integral role in championing economic development activities in the region. Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton will receive the Outstanding Regional Contribution award for making it a priority to promote a regional economic development approach since he took office in 2012.  Sharon Harper will be receiving the Distinguished Service Award at the dinner. Harper is the President and CEO of the Plaza Companies and has been a GPEC board member for all 25 years. For the first time ever, GPEC will be handing out the Ambassador of the Year award to Rebecca Timmer with Dibble Engineering, who goes above and beyond to be a champion of the region through her participation in the GPEC Ambassador program. Comedian Frank Caliendo will serve as the night’s entertainment.

For sponsorship opportunities, please contact Emily Mead at emead@gpec.org or 602-262-8600. For more information about the Annual Dinner or to purchase tickets, click here
