Bryan Smith is an Analyst who works in support of both the Research and Business Development teams, developing business cases for specific companies’ and industries’ relocation to Greater Phoenix, responding to client requests for information, and carrying out data analyses through geographic information systems. Bryan started working at GPEC in March of 2015 as a research intern before being taken on full time in his current role upon graduating from Arizona State University with his master’s degree in urban and environmental planning in May of 2016.
A native of New Jersey, Bryan was attracted to Greater Phoenix to attend Arizona State University. Having made his home here, Bryan is involved with improving the form of the region’s built environment, working with others on founding a southwest regional chapter of the Congress for the New Urbanism. Bryan has previously represented ASU’s planning programs on the board of the Arizona Chapter of the American Planning Association.
