Stefanie has been responsible for leading GPEC’s internal vision on all things design, branding and photography since 2015. Her expertise has not only been recognized within the organization but also by external peers, including the American Marketing Association (AMA) with a Spectrum Award in Special Event Materials for her branding, design and photography of an event series GPEC hosted titled Convening the Community (CTC), as well as a MarCom Gold Winner Award in the Special Events category for GPEC’s Annual Event titled Greater Phoenix is Poppin’.

Stefanie leverages her expertise along with her unwavering passion for art, design, and the local community to drive the creative vision for the organization and regional brand. She’s an excellent collaborator and regularly looks for ways to innovate and improve processes.

Stefanie has been a strong advocate for the broader arts community throughout her time with the organization. In addition to building and curating GPEC’s art program, which showcases hundreds of local artists annually, she consistently advocates for critical programs and partnerships that bolster collaboration between economic development and arts organizations.

In 2023 Stefanie was selected to be on the Board of Directors for the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Arizona. She serves as the Programing Director. AIGA is the profession’s oldest and largest professional membership organization for design—with more than 70 chapters and more than 15,000 members—that works to advance design as a professional craft, strategic advantage and vital cultural force.

When Stefanie is not working or trying to keep up with her two teenagers, she can be found creating art, cooking, practicing yoga, reading, exploring the Arizona outdoors or traveling the world.
