Drew joined GPEC as a research analyst in August 2019. He provides research support to GPEC’s internal teams and studies industry, policy, and market trends related to Greater Phoenix’s economic development objectives. In his role, he seeks to inform strategic decision-making and provide value to stakeholders.
Prior to joining GPEC, Drew spent several years as an analyst for Arizona State University, where he managed special projects and initiatives under the purview of the Office of the President. His work at ASU centered around institutional analysis and trends related to education policy, finance, technology, economic development and innovation in the higher education space.
Drew is interested in designing holistic strategies that leverage human capital, technology, and ‘triple-helix’ cross-sector collaboration to drive resilient, sustainable models for society and improve quality of life for Phoenix residents. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Wichita State University and a Master’s in Public Administration from Arizona State University.
