Drew joined GPEC as a research analyst in August 2019. In addition to providing research support to GPEC’s internal teams and investors, he studies various industry and market trends to inform strategic decision making around regional economic development objectives. Drew’s work interests and experience are highly interdisciplinary, and he has professional experience in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. His previous work has centered around business logistics and procurement, institutional innovation and collaboration, education, public policy and finance, technology, and economic development.
Prior to joining GPEC, Drew worked as an analyst for Arizona State University where he managed special research projects and initiatives under the purview of the Office of the President. While at ASU, Drew helped establish and manage the Institutional Analysis and Design Fellowship, which offers an applied learning and mentorship experience for high performing students in the public affairs and engineering fields.
A Phoenix native, Drew relocated back to Arizona in 2012 after spending nearly 20 years in the Midwest. In his free time Drew enjoys traveling to the many beautiful locations in Arizona with his family and drinking local craft beer and wine. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Wichita State University and a master’s in public administration from Arizona State University.
