Doug is the Managing Director and leader of BT Strategies – Economic Development Group. He has more than 20 years of economic development, incentives negotiation, site selection and finance experience

Doug represents corporate, governmental, and nonprofit clients through the complexities of the economic development process including site selection strategy, incentives negotiation, program approvals and contract implementation. He advises growing companies looking to expand or relocate throughout the United States, real estate developers planning new projects, and municipalities seeking to attract or retain businesses in their communities.

As a subsidiary of Barnes & Thornburg, Doug and the BT Strategies team bring together our economic development, legal and government affairs professionals who have extensive experience in government, law, and industry. BT Strategies team of experts collaborate with companies across the US to lead or support the site selection process and maximize value through the incentive procurement process.
