How Digital Air Strike is thriving in Greater Phoenix

As a region, we’re in a relentless pursuit of innovative and entrepreneurial technology-focused companies that are committed to changing the game. Digital Air Strike is one of those companies. Learn more about its story from Senior Communications Manager Hayley Ringle on why they chose Greater Phoenix and what they’ve been able to accomplish.

What city in Arizona is your company located in?

Hayley Ringle: Scottsdale

Tell us about your company:

Ringle: Digital Air Strike is the leading consumer engagement technology partner helping 7,700+ businesses leverage digital and social media environments. Our technology, team and culture contribute to the success of our clients.

How did your company start?

Ringle: During the Great Recession, Co-Founder and CEO Alexi Venneri started Digital Air Strike after her automotive advertising agency closed amid OEM bankruptcies and dealership shutdowns. Alexi knew that even though advertising budgets had been cut dramatically, dealerships and other businesses still needed to reach consumers — much like today. Eleven years ago, social media was just starting to be used in business-to-consumer communication. This was before business pages even existed on Facebook. Alexi knew social media was where consumers were spending their time and was a low-cost way for businesses to attract consumers. Digital Air Strike was founded to help dealers monetize the low-cost reach, engagement, and social media opportunity, even before advertising on Facebook, Twitter or YouTube.

Explain why you chose Greater Phoenix to build your company:

Ringle: Alexi Venneri chose to build her company in the Phoenix metro area because of the great tech talent and low cost of living. Digital Air Strike has acquired six companies and had many opportunities to leave the state. However, Alexi has always believed in what Arizona has provided to make tech companies successful. Digital Air Strike has continued to hire and expand in this great state, keeping its headquarters and the majority of its employees in Scottsdale.

What makes your product unique and different?

Ringle: As the leading consumer engagement technology partner, Digital Air Strike has completed six mergers and acquisitions and has expanded to provide a suite of consumer engagement technology and services, including AI chat messaging, AI lead response, consumer text marketing, credit to vehicle matching, digital advertising, streaming advertising, inventory merchandising, online reputation management, sales enablement, social recruiting, video lead engagement, and virtual retailing.

Digital Air Strike is unique and different because it provides one or all of these technologies to each client, working alongside other vendors and CRMs to increase sales and reduce expenses, while solving staffing challenges.

Digital Air Strike primarily serves the automotive industry, which like many industries, faces new challenges brought on by the pandemic, including vehicle inventory shortage and consumers wanting to do more of their research and transactions online.

Because of that, Digital Air Strike enhanced its patented AI lead response technology, Response Logix, to meet new consumer demands. The software converts vehicle shoppers into buyers with immediate and ongoing offers and communication. The technology builds a personalized website for every consumer lead within minutes, 24 hours a day, serving up multiple customized vehicle and payment options to each prospect. This helps auto dealerships compete with online retailers and enhances the ability for consumers to buy online, which has become even more critical during the pandemic.

What is the best thing about having your business in Greater Phoenix?

Ringle: The amazing tech talent, low cost of living and great weather are some of the best things about having a business in the Phoenix area.

In your opinion, why should someone build a career in Greater Phoenix?

Ringle: The Greater Phoenix area provides many opportunities not available in other large cities. The #YesPhx community provides many great tech companies along with a spirit of generosity and collaboration. Although home prices are rising, the Valley is an affordable place to live compared with other large cities. You also can’t beat the weather! As they say, you don’t need to shovel sunshine.

What are three words you would use to describe the business community in Greater Phoenix?

Ringle: Generous, collaboration, talented
