Ibrahim Mesbah: RevolutionParts helps automotive dealers maximize online OEM parts sales with powerful and user-friendly e-commerce solutions.

What city in Arizona is your company located in?

Mesbah: Phoenix

How did your company get started?

Mesbah: In 2013, I started helping a friend who was the parts manager at Showcase Honda solve e-commerce pain points using technology. This helped Showcase Honda to become profitable online almost instantly. Andreas Ronneseth, my friend from Arizona State University (ASU) who was also working with me at PayPal, saw the opportunity to innovate in parts e-commerce and we decided to move forward together. 

Explain why you chose Greater Phoenix to build your company:

Mesbah: The tech talent coming out of ASU and other universities is strong. Also, the startup ecosystem is a powerful, supportive community.

What makes your product unique and different?

Mesbah: Without RevolutionParts, there is a lot of friction occurring in how dealers try to sell parts online. Our platform simplifies the transaction between parts buyers and sellers. 

What is the best thing about having your business in Greater Phoenix?

Mesbah: Affordability and opportunities that have allowed us to bootstrap to over $10 million in revenue. 

In your opinion, why should someone build a career in Greater Phoenix?

Mesbah: The startup and tech growth here is exciting. 

What are three words you would use to describe the business community in Greater Phoenix?

Mesbah: Innovative, collaborative, and resourceful
