Free to be: Ambitious

Connor Keene, admin and finance manager, ZorroSign

I’m Connor Keene, admin and finance manager at ZorroSign. I recently graduated from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix where ZorroSign is headquartered within the Canyon Ventures Center, an accelerator and incubator creating companies that transform people, industries, and the world from the heart of West Phoenix. I’ve been with the company full-time for four months following an internship secured during my undergraduate studies.

“The fact I was able to graduate from GCU and transition into a full-time job with ZorroSign was such a huge blessing.”

Graduating and trying to find a job can be a hard thing on its own but throw in a pandemic and it can become a daunting task. That’s the important thing Canyon Ventures does for companies – it gives them direct access to talent and creates an easy pathway for new grads to find a job to jumpstart their careers.

I’m originally Federal Way, Washington where it rains considerably more than Phoenix, so getting to enjoy sunshine and the outdoors year-round has been incredible. Whether you’re into hiking, camping, golfing or watersports, it’s just a beautiful environment to be in. I also love the sense of community I found at GCU. The relationships I built during college have been amplified by the opportunity to stay on campus and start my career with ZorroSign.

My favorite thing about working at ZorroSign is our team’s commitment to growth. Whether it be the tech team that’s always looking for ways to advance our product, to the ever-growing sales team based here in Phoenix office. It creates all of these exciting developments – making this a truly unique place work at every single day.
