I am a scientist by training now pivoting my career to business development for the biosciences. I am eager to help cultivate and contribute to developing the bio-ecosystem in the Greater Phoenix area.
What city or town do you live in?
Where are you originally from and what brought you to Greater Phoenix?
I am originally from a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and then moved to Washington, DC to pursue my graduate thesis. I chose to move to Phoenix for the quality of living and friendly community.
Where do you currently work and what is your job title?
GPEC – Vice President of Bioscience Business Development
What’s your favorite thing to do in Greater Phoenix on the weekends?
Going up north to read books while simultaneously fishing

What’s something that has surprised you about Arizona?
The wide variety of geographical nature all found in one state. You can go from the desert in the valley to evergreen trees in a matter of 1-2 hours, all found in the same state.

I chose to join the GPEC team as I am a firm believer in giving back to the local community in which I’m a part of. My main mission is to do my part to ensure that there are enough of the right jobs for young scientists graduating from our local academic institutions to choose from.
