Where are you originally from and why’d you decide to move to Arizona?  
I am originally from Illinois, but I decided to move to Arizona because I fell in love with the culture and weather here.

What college/university did you graduate from and what’s your degree?  
Ball State University – I have a Bachelor of Science in advertising with a minor in marketing and a concentration in journalistic narrative writing.

Where do you currently work and what is your title?  
I am currently a Marketing and Communications/Design Intern with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council.

What do you like to do in Greater Phoenix on the weekends? 
Spending time with my French Bulldog, hiking and exploring Arizona.

What’s your go-to staycation spot and why? 
I haven’t been here long enough to experience a staycation, but I enjoy anything spa related!

What’s your favorite restaurant and why?  
Hash Kitchen. Who doesn’t like great breakfast food with a build your own Bloody Mary bar?!

How do you stay “cool” in the Arizona summers?  
Swimming!

What do you love most about living in Greater Phoenix?  
I love the culture here. Everyone I have met has been so welcoming and kind.

Look around you. One of the reasons I moved here was the beautiful scenery. Yes, it gets toasty here in the summer, but these beautiful mountains put the flat farmland of Illinois to shame.
