Originally from Western Canada, I moved to Phoenix to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle that accompanies 350 days of sunshine.

What college/university did you graduate from and what’s your degree?  

MBA from Athabasca University in Alberta, Canada.

Where do you currently work and what is your title?  

Vice President of Sales with Shmoop

What do you like to do in Greater Phoenix on the weekends? 

Balancing my love of local gastronomy and wine by staying active, hitting the hiking trails, doing yoga or lounging poolside.

What’s your go-to staycation spot and why? 

The Phoenician is a favorite. Nothing beats a hike up Camelback, enjoying the spa and pool, and taking a golf cart into Old Town.

What’s your favorite restaurant and why?

My Wine Cellar & Bistro in Tempe, I’m a wine club member and the owner, Shannon, is the best!

What do you like about our winters and why? 

Eating outside, never needing a jacket and all of my out of town friends coming to visit when they need a break from their local winter.

What do you love most about living in Greater Phoenix?  

The lifestyle. Active, casual and the time outdoors.

The airport. As someone who travels frequently it’s one of the best in the county.
