I am originally from Torrance, California. Before the Olympics in 1999, I moved to Park City, Utah, and then in 2014, I moved to Mesa, Arizona. I moved to Arizona for the growing economic opportunities in technology.

What do you like to do in Greater Phoenix on the weekends? 

ANYTHING outdoors! 

What’s your go-to staycation spot and why? 

Adobe Grand Villas in Sedona, Arizona. I took my wife there for a getaway once and we’ve been hooked on it ever since. 

What’s your favorite restaurant and why?  

Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill in Sedona, Arizona for their LIGHTNING show, ambience and food. 

How do you stay “cool” in the Arizona summers?  

Pool, air conditioning, hydration and flying my plane anywhere else 🙂
