What makes Greater Phoenix so great: Khushi Wadhwani

Tell us a little about yourself:

I’m a senior at Arizona State University majoring in business data analytics with an economics minor. I come from Mumbai and love being outdoors, talking to people from different backgrounds, and trying out new foods.

What brought you to Greater Phoenix?

Arizona’s warm weather and ASU’s W.P. Carey Business School is what brought me here. I love that the different cities in Greater Phoenix are well connected which allows me to explore the entire region, while also getting the campus life at ASU!

Tempe

Where do you currently work and what is your job title?

I’m a Research and Analytics Intern at the Greater Phoenix Economic Council

What’s your favorite thing to do in Greater Phoenix on the weekends?

I like to spend the weekends by the pool when it’s hot, and at other times I love trying new food places or taking a workout class

What’s your favorite local restaurant?

Gus’s New York Pizza

What’s something that has surprised you about Arizona?

I was surprised by the unique desert terrain with the cacti all around, definitely looked like a movie set since I’ve stayed in a coastal city all my life. The culture of having pools so commonly everywhere is also surprising and something I’m grateful for since I love to swim!
