What do you like to do in Greater Phoenix on the weekends?
I like to explore Downtown Phoenix, go to different local coffee shops, and see my favorite bands perform live at small venues in Downtown Phoenix.

What’s your go-to staycation spot and why?
My go-to staycation spot is to just be at home. I live in Northern Phoenix where I can easily access Scottsdale, Downtown Phoenix, and the surrounding Greater Phoenix area in a 20-minute drive or shorter. My home is in a great location and I can save money there versus staying at a hotel.

What’s your favorite restaurant and why?
I have a few favorite restaurants including North Italia, Flower Child, Postinos, and Two Hippies Beach House. Those restaurants are primarily based in Arizona and truly care about the quality of their food.

How do you stay “cool” in the Arizona summers?
I stay “cool” in the Arizona summers by staying inside. During the summers I read, write for my blog, and go to indoor concerts.

What do you like about our winters and why?
I like that Phoenix’s winters are still full of sunshine. It doesn’t get too terribly cold here and we are lucky enough to not have to experience snow in the Greater Phoenix area. As stressful as the holidays can be, I do also love the holiday season.

What do you love most about living in Greater Phoenix?
What I love most about living in Greater Phoenix is how quickly the region is growing here as far as technology, culture, and career development. I really believe that Greater Phoenix is a great place to live for all ages.
