I moved to Arizona two years ago from New York for my husband’s job. We have one son who was born here and we bought our first home together in North Phoenix. I am a Sales Director for local staffing agency HotFoot Recruiters.

Buffalo, NY and my husbands company

What’s your favorite thing to do in Greater Phoenix on the weekends?

Go to restaurants, art expos, anything outside

What’s something that has surprised you about Arizona?

How quick you can get to so many different things and places. There is a ton of restaurants, hiking, skiing or just being outside in Flagstaff or Sedona, close to the border and other surrounding states. NY is very big. It can take eight hours to get across the state.

Arizona has a lot more to offer than I originally thought. I am still getting used to the slower paced and more laid back style than the East Coast. I love the weather and what we have experienced in our few years here.
