I am a Research and Development Intern at GPEC and a recent Arizona State University graduate with a Master’s in Urban and Environmental Planning.

How long have you lived in Greater Phoenix?

17 years

Where are you originally from and what brought you to Arizona?

I am originally from Southern California. My family moved to Arizona in 2005 for the lower cost of living. 

What’s your favorite thing to do in Greater Phoenix on the weekends?

My favorite thing to do is go on a hike in places like Flatiron Trail in the Superstition Mountains. 

What’s your favorite local restaurant?

The Dhaba in Tempe

What’s something that has surprised you about Arizona?

The population growth in Arizona within the last few decades has surprised me. 

Anything else you want to add?

One of my favorite activities is spending time outdoors. Greater Phoenix is a great place for it because it has so much public land such as national parks and forests within a short driving distance.
