It will be three years in June 2021.

What city do you currently reside in?

Phoenix

Where are you originally from and why’d you decide to move to Arizona?

I’m from Omaha, Nebraska. After earning my master’s degree in architecture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I set out to find as wide of a variety of experiences as I could as an architect. I worked for multiple firms of varying sizes, types and locations. I worked in San Diego, Washington D.C., and London before finally arriving at Burns & McDonnell in Kansas City, Missouri – an engineering, architecture and construction firm.

After six years of working on a variety of engineering and architecture infrastructure projects, I was tapped to lead our Global Facilities team in our firm’s Phoenix office. In this role I manage an extremely talented team focused on the design and construction of multiple types of facilities across a variety of industries in the Southwest. Whether it’s a manufacturer, commercial institution, university, utility or anything in between, we’re the one-stop shop to complete critical infrastructure projects from concept to completion. It’s very rewarding to have a hand in projects that help propel our economy forward and bring innovative jobs to the region.

If you graduated from college, where did you attend and what was your degree?

I’m a proud Husker, earning a Master’s Degree in Architecture and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Design from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
