Business Analyst Internship

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Compile data and monitor data quality in GPEC internal CRM system to track activity – Salesforce training to be provided
  • Correspond and schedule meetings on behalf of Business Development for leads and new project opportunities
  • Validate and qualify new leads in GPEC’s CRM system
  • Gather business insights and update business mobility information for local communities
  • Report back to team leads with feedback on business responses and activity trends of the week
  • Weekly outreach via phone, social media and email to corporate targets with the goal to gauge interest on the company’s expansion plans for Greater Phoenix
  • Participate in the discussion for future strategic outreach targets


  • College students in their junior or senior year
  • Preferred major in economics, public policy, business, finance or related areas
  • Strong academic record
  • Previous work experience desired
  • Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Team player and fast learner

Internship Details
Hourly wage begins at $13.50 per hour. The hours will be flexible to accommodate for school schedules. We prefer a commitment of 20 hours a week for at least 6 months.
