Chris has over 25 years of experience in advancing cutting-edge biomedical technologies in the healthcare & life sciences industry. Chris serves as the Regional Innovation Officer for the Medical Device Manufacturing Multiplier (MDM2) Consortium of Greater Phoenix, a U.S. EDA TechHub Program funded effort. Chris is also General Partner and Managing Director of Xcellerant Ventures, Arizona’s venture fund focused on startups in HealthTech, MedTech, and TechBio. As the GP leading deal flow, Chris has developed an expansive network of relationships with academic and business ecosystems to identify superior new ventures and he serves on the boards of several portfolio companies as a result of his proactive approach to startup support. Chris continues to operate Yoo & Co Accelerators, the premier business accelerator in Arizona for healthcare & life sciences startups. Chris is an active angel investor and, as a serial entrepreneur, has created value in new companies that accelerate the adoption of smarter, technology-based systems such as cognitive computing, big data analytics, and systems engineering.
