John Krueger joined Colliers as the in-house site selection expert in 2019. In this role, he works with corporate real estate decision makers, developers and brokers to evaluate the potential of communities in terms of employee pipeline, local taxes, cost of expansion, economic trends, and incentives.

John has had 20 years’ experience within regional and state-wide economic development organizations such as the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, Arizona Public Service Company, and the Greater Sacramento Economic Council. John uses his leadership, research, and business development skills to create, implement, evaluate, and improve new and existing business development programs to support the long-term success of an organization.

John has helped more than 700 companies across the U.S. evaluate expansion options in the areas of tax, workforce, incentives, utility and infrastructure, and real estate analysis as Vice President of Business Development at the Greater Phoenix Economic Council and as Executive Vice President of the Greater Sacramento Economic Council. His work in economic incentives has earned clients over $30 million in credits, grants and cost offsets since 2020.
