Graduating with a M.S. in Robotic Engineering in 2018, Samuel and his brother John founded OnePointOne, Inc. with a mission to nourish the 1.1 billion people that began this millennium hungry. Since then, Samuel has raised over $70MM from notable investors to invent and sell full-scale indoor vertical farming systems. OnePointOne’s proprietary technology provides an end-to-end automated plant production solution for the production of fruits, vegetables, nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals. Sam’s ultimate goal is to decrease agriculture’s environmental footprint, whilst dramatically improving human nutrition. Sam’s been awarded Forbes 30U30 Social Impact, Santa Clara University Entrepreneur of the Year, as well as a seat on Stanford’s Global Projects Center Advisory Board.
