CAP General Manager
The Central Arizona Project is Arizona’s largest renewable water supply, transporting and delivering approximately one-half of Arizona’s Colorado River apportionment to the interior of the state.
Ted was appointed General Manager in 2015, reporting to the publicly-elected Board of Directors and is responsible for carrying out the Board’s policy directives and overseeing all operational aspects of CAP, the largest water provider in Arizona.
Ted joined CAP in 1999 after an earlier career in utility-scale solar and geothermal power development and operations and corporate finance.
Ted is currently a member of the Governor’s Water Augmentation, Innovation and Conservation Council, serves as the Co-Chair of the Arizona Reconsultation Committee, and has been appointed to serve on the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona Board.
