ThriftBooks selects Phoenix for expansion

New processing center will create 150 new jobs by end of year

PHOENIX (March 24, 2021) – ThriftBooks, the world’s largest independent online used book seller, will create 150 new jobs with the opening of a 190,000-square-foot processing center in Phoenix in early May.

ThriftBooks has been operating in Greater Phoenix since 2011, and the move to a larger location will support ThriftBooks growing business on thriftbooks.com and online marketplaces including Amazon, eBay, Etsy, AbeBooks and others.

Employment opportunities at the expanded ThriftBooks facility include product sorters, machine line operators, and inventory control specialists, as well as leadership roles from entry level to multi-shift site management.
