Alexandra Watts is the Digital Marketing Coordinator at GPEC, where she supports marketing and communications efforts, with a focus on digital storytelling and social media.
A native Phoenician, telling the stories of Greater Phoenix excites her.
Watts began her career in journalism, with work featured on NPR and in USA Today. She previously worked at The Arizona Republic as an audio producer and podcast host covering bioscience. She spent several years in public media, including at Arizona PBS, before transitioning into audience engagement and social media. Her work has been recognized by regional and national Edward R. Murrow Awards, the Online News Association and the Associated Press.
A proud graduate of Arizona State University, Watts is proud to call Greater Phoenix home. Outside of work, she enjoys record stores and reality television – which means she could tell you about which bands and their inner circles would make for compelling television.
