Evan is an intern with the Research & Analytics team at GPEC. In this role, he supports economic development initiatives through in-depth research and analysis focused on key industry sectors and emerging technologies. Evan contributes to business development efforts by identifying and quality-checking strategic lead targets, while also providing detailed profiles, summary reports, and briefing materials.
Evan is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Planning at Arizona State University. He holds undergraduate degrees in Business and Environmental Studies from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Before joining GPEC, Evan worked in marketing, where he played a key role in a full rebrand for an environmental services company. He also has experience in sales and business development at a startup specializing in customized AI solutions.
Originally from central Michigan, Evan always dreamed of living in a larger city. After visiting family in Greater Phoenix, he was drawn to the region’s climate, scenic landscape, and wide range of opportunities, ultimately inspiring his move to Arizona. In his free time, Evan enjoys trying new restaurants, hiking, riding the light rail and Waymo, and exploring the unique downtowns throughout the region.
