Kelly Gannon

Kelly Gannon serves as Director of Communications and Campaigns at GPEC, where she manages internal and external communications strategy and oversees the A New Way to City regional branding campaign. Through strategic storytelling, media relations and stakeholder engagement, she helps elevate the region’s reputation as a premier destination for business investment, innovation, and opportunity.

Kelly brings extensive experience in journalism, communications, and data-driven strategy. Prior to joining GPEC, she was an Emmy-nominated writer and producer at Arizona’s Family (CBS 5 & 3TV) in Phoenix and CBS News in New York, where she crafted stories that informed, connected and motivated audiences. She also held roles with CBS and National CineMedia, using audience insights and analytics to shape content strategy, measure performance and strengthen engagement.

Kelly earned an MBA from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from Northeastern University. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for High Country Adaptive Sports in Flagstaff, Arizona, and the advisory board for Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her husband, two sons and dogs.
