Stefanie has led GPEC’s internal brand, design, and photography efforts since 2015, shaping the organization’s visual identity and elevating its communications, events, and culture through thoughtful, consistent design. Her creative expertise and passion for art, design, and the local community have earned recognition both internally and externally, including a Spectrum Award from the American Marketing Association (AMA) for GPEC’s Convening the Community series and a MarCom Gold Award for the annual event Greater Phoenix is Poppin’. A collaborative team player, Stefanie is always looking for ways to innovate and improve creative processes.
Stefanie has been a strong advocate for the broader arts community throughout her time with the organization. In addition to building and curating GPEC’s art program, which showcases hundreds of local artists annually, she consistently advocates for critical programs and partnerships that bolster collaboration between economic development and arts organizations.
In 2023, Stefanie served a one-year term as Programming Chair on the Board of Directors for AIGA Arizona, the state chapter of a national organization dedicated to supporting and advancing the design profession.
When Stefanie is not working or trying to keep up with her two teenagers, she can be found creating art, cooking, practicing yoga, reading, exploring the Arizona outdoors or traveling the world.
