Joseph began working at GPEC as an intern in May 2019 before being hired on full time as a research analyst in September 2019. In his role, Joseph provides research highlighting Greater Phoenix’s competitiveness, and analysis on national and regional economic indicators.
Prior to joining GPEC, Joseph worked as a research assistant for Arizona State University and was an intern for the Arizona Council on Economic Education. In the summer of 2018, Joseph was a research intern for the Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy at the Brookings Institution. Here he wrote blog posts and supported Hutchins Center staff on economic projects. Between 2017-2019, Joseph was a tutor at the ASU Economic Tutoring Center, specializing in econometrics and advanced macroeconomics.
Joseph was born and raised in Tucson, AZ and graduated from ASU in May 2019 with a B.S. in Economics.
