Anthony started as a research intern with GPEC in June 2018, joined the team full time as a research analyst in December 2018 and was promoted to the director of research and analytics in January 2021. In his role, Anthony oversees the creation of the industry ecosystem documents that highlight Greater Phoenix’s strengths. He also takes on in-depth research projects that make compelling business cases for the region.
Prior to joining GPEC, Anthony had interned under Representative Greg Stanton during his time as Mayor of Phoenix. During his internship, he helped address constituent issues and learned about city department functions. Anthony also previously worked as a research assistant at Arizona State University analyzing wildfire trends in Arizona.
Anthony was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning and a Certificate in Geographical Information Science from the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning at Arizona State University. In his free time Anthony enjoys cycling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his wife.
